Aug. 1978 - Best Insurance & Financial Services LLC is started in the home of Gary & Reta Best. Gary starts by providing disability insurance to farmers throughout NW Ohio
1981 - Gary's wife Reta starts on with the company as an Administrative Assistant
1981 - Best Insurance moves into their 1st office in Blakeslee, OH where they would spend the next 9 years
1990 - Best Insurance relocates across the street in Blakeslee, OH to a larger office and would spend the next 4 years there
1994 - Best Insurance buys their 1st office in Edon, OH at their current address
July 2002 - The demolition of Best Insurance's office begins in order to build their new office and spruce up beautiful downtown Edon, OH with a new 1,500 sq. ft. office building
Jan. 2003 - Best Insurance moves in to it's brand new office where they currently reside today
2015 - Gary and Reta's son Cody starts on with the company as a full-time Licensed Agent in Ohio, Indiana & Michigan
2019 - Cody becomes licensed in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan to offer Homeowners, Auto, Umbrella Policies, Commercial & Farm Insurance. This will make Best Insurance an agency that can assist their clients with ALL their insurance needs
2024 - Gary has sailed off into retirement after an illustrious 45 year career! Cody has purchased the agency and is now the 2nd generation owner of Best Insurance
